Imagine bringing your best salesperson on every one of your Matterport Tours! Mattertags (those little blue dots) are by far my favorite feature of the tour because they enhance communication with viewers by anchoring text descriptions to specific physical locations.
What You Can Embed In Mattertags:
- Links- link to external sites (Facebook, LinkedIn, Websites, External PDFs, etc)
- Text- add personalized or relevant content to any object or space
- Images- link to images such as Instagram, Flickr, Pexels, etc
- Audio- add music from spotify, soundcloud, simplecast, etc
- Videos- YouTube, Vimeo, Hulu
The fact that you have complete control over what is being communicated within your tour is what makes your space unique and stand out from your competitors.
You can include as little or as much information in your tour as you see fit. Some clients with smaller spaces prefer to have fewer than 10 mattertags while other clients of ours want 50+ mattertags.

- Is there a limit to how many Mattertags you can have in a tour? No, you can have as many as you'd like.
- Can we edit the Mattertags ourselves? Unfortunately, No. We use a proprietary software to make all edits and revisions to the tours. However, we've created a Mattertag editable PDF form that we will provide to help streamline the editing process for all parties involved.
- Can you make changes to Mattertags after the space has been published?Yes! If information is outdated or you need to link to a different external page or video down the road, we can easily make those changes for you.
